ISHECON is registered by the Department of Labour as an Approved Inspection Authority for conducting Explosives Risk Assessments.

The South African Explosives regulation require that all Explosives License applications be accompanied by a Risk Assessment conducted by a Department of Labour Approved Inspection Authority (AIA).

Ishecon conducts qualitative and quantitative risk assessments using proven techniques as per SANS 31010 – Risk Management – Risk Assessment Techniques.
